Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by BLB Taxi (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking or using our taxi services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

BLB Taxi provides airport transfers, local taxi services across Dublin and Kildare, 8-seater taxis, wheelchair accessible taxis, and private tours.

2. Bookings

  • Bookings may be made via phone, email, or direct contact.

  • A booking is considered confirmed once agreed between the customer and BLB Taxi.

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup details, contact information, and travel times.

  • Any incorrect details may result in delays or additional charges.

3. Fares & Payment

  • Fares are agreed at the time of booking or calculated according to standard taxi rates where applicable.

  • Prices may vary depending on distance, time of travel, passenger requirements, or special vehicle requests.

  • Payment must be made at the end of the journey unless otherwise agreed.

  • BLB Taxi reserves the right to refuse service if payment is not made.

4. Cancellations

  • Cancellations should be made as early as possible.

  • Late cancellations may incur a charge, especially for airport transfers or pre-scheduled long-distance bookings.

  • If a driver has already been dispatched, a cancellation fee may apply.

5. Waiting Time

  • For standard pickups, reasonable waiting time is allowed.

  • Additional waiting time may be charged after a reasonable grace period.

  • For airport pickups, flight monitoring may be used where details are provided, and reasonable waiting time will apply after landing.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers must:

  • Behave respectfully towards drivers

  • Wear seatbelts at all times

  • Not smoke or vape inside the vehicle

  • Avoid causing damage to the vehicle

BLB Taxi reserves the right to terminate a journey if a passenger behaves in a threatening, abusive, or unsafe manner. Any damage caused to the vehicle will be charged to the passenger.

7. Wheelchair & Special Assistance

  • Customers requiring wheelchair accessible vehicles must inform us at the time of booking.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements.

  • Failure to notify us in advance may limit availability.

8. Airport Transfers

  • Customers must provide accurate flight details.

  • BLB Taxi is not responsible for missed flights due to traffic delays, accidents, severe weather, or circumstances beyond our control.

  • Customers are advised to allow sufficient travel time when booking.

9. Delays & Force Majeure

BLB Taxi shall not be liable for delays caused by:

  • Traffic congestion

  • Road closures

  • Weather conditions

  • Accidents

  • Events beyond our reasonable control

In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption.

10. Lost Property

  • Passengers are responsible for ensuring they have all belongings before leaving the vehicle.

  • If property is found, we will make reasonable efforts to return it.

  • BLB Taxi is not liable for lost or damaged personal items left in the vehicle.

11. Liability

  • BLB Taxi maintains appropriate licensing and insurance as required by Irish law.

  • Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed appointments or business losses.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service where:

  • A passenger poses a safety risk

  • False booking information is provided

  • Payment is refused

  • The booking breaches these Terms & Conditions

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

BLB Taxi reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available upon request or on our website.
